PTA Fashion Show
On the 9th of November West Derby School played host to its first ever Fashion Show. The evening began early at 6pm with quests arriving early despite the appalling weather. By 6.30 Café West was full and had been transformed into a walkway with models and eager customers.
In total 120 tickets were sold with 71 people present on the night. There were two ‘shows’ on the night separated by a small break and then plenty of time for eager shopping for bargains. The show covered a range of clothes and accessories, ranging from Karen Millen and TopShop to ASOS. All very available at 50% or better reductions on the normal high street prices. The show itself was almost not needed to sell the items.
The whole event was run by an external company called Colours Fashion Shows, who supplied all the clothes and all the models. The models and host for the evening did the school proud with a professional and polished performance.
The busiest part of the evening however, was the browsing, buying and trying part at the end!
More importantly £477 was raised towards the purchase of new outdoor furniture.
A massive thank you to everyone involved.
