The Trust is made up of:

  • Parents
  • Teachers at the school
  • Representatives from the community and the world of work

The Trust are appointed to help:

  • decide upon the curriculum
  • set standards of behaviour
  • interview and select staff
  • decide how the school budget is spent

School Trustees:

  • have legal duties, powers and responsibilities
  • can only act together: they cannot act individually

Parent Trustees:

  • have a child in school
  • are elected by parents of the school for a four year period
  • bring the views of the parents to the Trust, but they speak and act as individuals, not as delegates of the parents.
  • they have equal status in the work of the Trust and have voting rights
